· Age: 50. Own (5) new Beneteau 42’ sailboats. Endless-Summer, Summer: Wind, Magic, Dreams & Breeze
· Thirty plus years of boating and over 6,500 miles of Offshore sailing logged on the Atlantic
· Born and raised in Newport, RI and started sailing with the Boy Scouts at age 14
· Operator of various sailboats, motorboats and catamarans ranging from 18’ to 65’
· Annual cruises in the Narragansett Bay, Vineyard Sound, Buzzards Bay and Long Island Sound
· Knowledge of charts, dead-reckoning, GPS, radar and single side band radios
· Responsible for all training & safety briefs, maintenance of 12 sail wardrobe, & all engineering duties
· Knowledge of all aspects of boat building, repair, rebuild, and upkeep of engines and fiberglass
· Employed 1980 by Newport Offshore Boatyard to oversee faring and painting of 12 Meter “Clipper”
· Employed 1979 by Baron Bich of “France 3” America’s Cup boat as paint and fairing specialist
· Dock manager 1977 at Newport’s Bannister’s Wharf including Ted Turner’s 12 meter “Courageous”
· Past President - Newport Yacht Charter Association 2001
